Mission Statement
Our mission is to serve those who have served by providing safe, stable, and supportive transitional living for homeless veterans in and around the Jonesborough area. As a veteran-led initiative, we are grounded in a firsthand understanding of the challenges veterans face when transitioning back into civilian life, including housing insecurity, access to resources, and the need for community support.
We are committed to giving back by creating a dignified environment where veterans can regain stability, restore independence, and access the tools necessary to rebuild their lives. Through compassion, respect, and shared experience, we honor their service by ensuring no veteran is left without support or a place to call home.
Program Model
Our program model provides structured transitional living for homeless veterans for a period of six months to one year, offering both housing stability and a clear pathway to self-sufficiency. During their stay, residents participate in hands-on workforce development by learning practical, income-generating skills such as sheetrocking, carpentry, pressure washing, landscaping, and masonry.
In addition to vocational training, residents are connected with essential support services, including employment assistance, mental health resources, and financial literacy education. By combining safe housing with skill-building and supportive services, we foster a disciplined, empowering environment that prepares veterans for long-term independence, sustainable employment, and successful reintegration into the community.
